
Pete's Pool was cleared, re-shaped and stocked in 2005. The pond opened to the public in the spring of 2006. Pete's Pool is the smaller of the ponds w ith eight pegs. Two of these pegs have disabled access. It is located next to the Car Park, and so is ideal for those with walking difficulties. It is an original pool with depths reaching 10ft around the reeds

Pete's Pool is named after my Dad who I sadly lost in October 2005. We had started the pool together but he never got to see it finished. It is therefore named Pete's Pool after my wonderful Dad, Peter Baker.
The Heron Pit
The Heron Pit is the larger of the ponds with 27 well spaced pegs set in scenic surroundings. The Heron Pit is accessed through 100m field. The original Heron Pit was extended and landscaped creating an island shallow fishing areas on the edge of each bank. Below are a series of pictures displaying the transformation.
